Spring Décor (Thrift Store Style)
If you are like me, I have a lot of decorations for fall and Christmas, but when it comes to spring – not so much. This year I am determined to add to my décor with a few spring things.
When I ventured into a few craft shop to buy a few thing, I noticed that most of what I wanted was white bunnies. Instead of buying them at the craft shop, I headed to the thrift stores. Look for bunnies, chicks, lambs, fawns, etc. . . It didn’t matter about the color because I was going to spray paint them anyway.
Look for figurines with a good shape. Take off sticker and clean them well.
I spray painted all of my things white. It will take a few coats of paint for coverage. The candle sticks were orange, so they took a few coats.
All in all, I think they turned out wonderful!
RUN! Go buy all the baby animals you can find at the thrift store.
